Event overview: This forum is part of Qatar Foundation initiative to promote stem cell research in Qatar
Target audience: General public
Objective: To provide Qatar community with updated information about stem cell science policy as well as the opportunity for the general public to ask questions and voice comments in discussions with experts in this field.
Speakers & Panel members: Distinguished guests from Qatar consisting of scientists, ethicists, Islamic scholars and policy makers

2008 also witnessed the first classes taught in the new Texas A&M at Qatar Engineering Building and the first graduates from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, Texas A&M at Qatar and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar.
