Can a student pay some of his/her college costs by working on the Education City campus?
Full-time students are offered the opportunity to work on campus, whether or not they receive a financial aid loan or hold a scholarship. However, their income should be declared when they re-apply for the loan.

DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS

Applicants will be notified via e-mail of the outcome of their applications. Those who are awarded financial aid will be informed in detail of the terms and conditions of the financial aid offer.

Upon receiving the offer and matriculating at their branch campus, the student needs to sign and upload the Financial Aid contract.

If they accept the conditions of the contract, they will be required to sign it and adhere to all terms mentioned. A hard copy of the original signed contract needs to be submitted to the financial aid office.

Once the student has matriculated, the financial aid will be automatically transferred to the branch campus and residential life as applicable. Loan distribution will only be authorized after a student has agreed to and signed the contract. An information session will be held periodically to clarify the terms of agreement and loan repayments.

Appeals

Students who wish to appeal a financial aid decision made by the financial aid committee may do so under one of the following circumstances:

  • Student believes that submitting additional documentation or information may change the demonstrated family need.
  • An unexpected change in the family's financial situation after the original decision has been issued.
